robinsviewphoto > Some friends and I were in Yellowstone at Swan Lake, hoping to photograph Grizzly, and this Elk calf walked into the parking lot within 5 feet of us. It eventually walked into the sagebrush and laid down, within 10 yards of a well traveled road. We waited for 2 hours to see if the mother would come back to get it and sure enough it did. When it got up, I just loved the way the sun was backlighting the ears in this photo.

robinsviewphoto > A moment every photographer dreams of, the tender moment between a mom and baby. On the way out of Yellowstone, on our way to the Tetons, my husband and I spotted this cow and calf and stopped to photograph them.
robinsviewphoto > What an incredible moment this was! I was watching a coyote den when this coyote came in and sat up above on a hillside. It was barking and grunting and then it howled. I did this a series of three times and then it went and laid down under a bush and slept. The only unfortunate thing was that the pups had been moved the day before and I was not watching the correct den site to get photos of the pups.
robinsviewphoto > Bears in Yellowstone can be difficult to find, but when you do, it will make your day!
robinsviewphoto > I have to give my husband credit because he took this photo. I had the larger lens and cut the bears feet off since I had too much lens for a vertical shot.
